Glenavy GAC has purchased a defibrillator, which is a device that applys a controlled electrical shock to the chest of people in cardiac arrest in order to restart their heart. A number of members attended a training session on the use of the defibrillator and refreshed their CPR skills. Documentation on CPR and using the defibrillator is available at the following links :-
