Launch of “Big 24” Fundraising Draw!

7 years ago our Club began a process of development with the aim of creating facilities that were second to none in Antrim and further afield. It is with a great sense of pride that we have got to where we are and we are eternally grateful to all the support we have received over these last few years.

Phase 1

  • Luminated walking track
  • Substitutes and Officials’ Area
  • Electronic Scoreboard
  • Improved catch nets
  • Extra drainage and 4g goal mouths on main playing field

Phase 2

  • Floodlit sand-carpet training field
  • Ball Skills Wall
  • Community Social Zone and Picnic Area (to be completed in Spring 2021)

These facilities are an investment in the future of our Club and the people of the Glenavy area. Thousands of people will avail of the pitches and our hope is that we will increase life long participation in GAA well into the 21st Century, improving physical and mental health and well-being as we go.

Our P6&P7s had a great game of football this afternoon over at Pairc Lamh Dhearg. A evenly balanced game with both sides showing excellent attitude and spirit. We can see the improvement in everyone week by week!
