End of Year Awards 2021

Congratulations to all of our winners of the end of year awards, celebrated at the Crooked Glen on Friday evening. A mixed season for our senior men’s and ladies’ teams. Our senior reserve lost out in the Reserve Shield final but made excellent progress as the year went on. The highlight of the year goes to our Senior Ladies who won the Antrim Junior Championship and were narrowly beaten in the quarter final of Ulster.

As always, a new year presents a new opportunity to all of our teams and hopefully the progress that has been made can be built upon and we can keep moving forward. Not every team may win a trophy but along the way there are small victories that help put us in a better position than we were at the start of 2021.

Special mention to Gráinne McLaughlin, Ellen Morgan and Natasha O’Neill who represented Antrim in the All Ireland Junior Final in Croke Park. Special congratulations to Gráinne who was also nominated for an LGFA All Star. A superb achievement and very well deserved. Hopefully next season they can all go one better.

Well done to all those who won individual awards:

Senior Player of the Year – Ruairi Forester
Senior Ladies Player of the Year – Ana Mulholland
Senior Ladies Player of the Year – Natasha O’Neill
Senior Reserve Player of the Year – Timmy Honeyford
